Brett Caller sets the edge in on his alaia at a hidden back beach up north. It's always inspiring for me to watch Bretto ride alaias, because he's equally good, forehand & backhand, while I'm a bit of a hack. An enthusiastic hack, but a hack nonetheless.

Autumness

Autumn has begun in our part of the world. Sure, summer's gone, with all its long days & deep heat & beach weather, but as Keats penned, Autumn 'hast thy music too.' It's my favourite time of the year: warm water, cool evenings, less crowds, offshores, south swells. Stoked!
